Built for utmost quality and utility, DxO PhotoLab is the multi-award winning RAW editing and workflow software for exacting photographers. So I can't compare them before making the choice. DxO PhotoLab 6 ELITE edition is your complete, end-to-end, RAW photo editing software. I'm trying the PureRaw 3 demo, but foolishly deleted the Demo of PhotoLab 6 Elite without fully testing it. PureRaw 3 is more expensive than the PhotoLab upgrade, it has a simpler interface than PhotoLab, but is less flexible. But - on my creaky old pc it takes up to 6 minutes. Then it is up to you to decide whether or not to add the watermark to your exported images. The DxO Instant Watermarking tool offers the advantage of a live preview of the watermark in the image, during creation and alteration. This gives a noticeably better result than DeepPrime. DxO PhotoLab lets you add a watermark to your images in the form of text, graphics, or both. ![]() Prosessing an ORF file with DeepPrime takes about 2 minutes on my 7 year old Windows computer, but the results are worth it.Ī couple of years on we have PhotoLab 6 and PureRaw 3, both with DeepPrime XD. A couple of years ago I started to use DXO Photolab 4 as a plug-in, which enables me to shoot at ISO 6400 with confidence - the results are amazing. ![]() My processing is mostly in Lightroom (subscription), with the occasional round trip into Photoshop. I'm using an Oly 1.3 and 5.3, always shooting in RAW. My question - one the same computer, will Photolab 6 Elite run significantly slower than PureRaw 3 using the same settings?
